Reggie Exum
Director of Tennis, First Coast Williams Family YMCA
A proud native of Jacksonville, Florida, Reggie is recognized as a cornerstone in the tennis community for over four decades. Having attended the University of North Florida on a full tennis scholarship, he also secured the distinction of being a three time All-American. In 2019, he was proudly inducted into the University of North Florida Sports hall of Fame.
While at UNF, Reggie met his wife, Kimberly and they have been married for over 24 years and have two grown children. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in business management, he went to work for the family business for a few years before deciding to pursue teaching tennis full time.
Starting his career at San Jose country club over 20 years ago, he is now the Director of Tennis at the First Coast Williams Family YMCA in Mandarin. Reggie loves being able to share his passion for the game by teaching it to all levels and ages from three to 93. He also is a co-coordinator of the Josh Watkins Memorial Tennis Tournament, which gives scholarships to the local community as well as to students at UNF.
When he is not on the court, Reggie can be found on a golf course, at a Jaguars game or with his family enjoying local eateries.
