Kaci Barnes
PNC Bank, Client and Community Relations Specialist
Ten years ago, Kaci Barnes moved to Jacksonville for a job opportunity, not knowing a single person in the city. During the last decade she has built a strong community; secured her dream job with PNC Bank; met her husband, Colin; bought their first home; adopted their first dog, Honey; and most recently had their first child, Beau. Kaci lovingly calls Jacksonville home and as a resident of a historic district neighboring Jacksonville's urban core, she is invested in and passionate about the revitalization and development of Downtown Jacksonville.
Kaci was born and raised in South Carolina and is a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Health Fitness and Public Health. Since moving to Jacksonville in 2014, she has worked in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors for various organizations. In her role as Client and Community Relations Specialist with PNC Bank, she plans and executes client and community relations activities and North Florida market initiatives including client entertainment events, sponsorship activation, grant-making, and employee engagement activities. Kaci is an active Trustee member of the JAX Chamber, has served in various roles on the JAX Chamber Professional Women's Council Board of Directors, served on the Jacksonville Humane Society Board of Directors, and is a graduate of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2021.
In her free time, Kaci enjoys learning about & tasting interesting wines and achieved her Level 2 Award in Wines through the Wine and Spirit Education Trust in 2022. She also enjoys trying new local restaurants, cooking, traveling, cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks, and spending time with her family and friends. Kaci’s mother taught high school chorus for 20 years so Kaci grew up singing in chorus all through school and still enjoys singing whenever the opportunities arise. She took one year of dance lessons as a child and quickly realized that wasn’t her talent. While her participation in Dancing With The Stars is a little out of her comfort zone; she is honored to support the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus, excited to compete, and determined to win!
